Career Guidance for Disadvantaged Members of the Community

This unit is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to expose him/her to the scope of career guidance to socially disadvantaged members of the community (school dropouts, economically disadvantaged, Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), early school leavers, migrants, young mothers, retrenched employees and early retirements, demilitarised soldiers). It will help the trainee to gain competencies to strategically put together career guidance programmes, interventions and evaluation techniques that suit the different facets of this group.
